What We Think
I felt the need to take some time to take a good look at this (for technical reasons, you understand). I have been generally unimpressed with big event sport using streaming, but today’s match was technically very good. There was no point where the quality obviously dipped and there was enough resolution and frame rate for football. My good experience was probably helped by the fact that I use cable-based internet from Virgin Media, which has a bit more control over delivery than getting streamed content other ways, but clearly mass sporting events by streaming have arrived.
