AUO was the first panel maker to publish its September figures, posting turnover of NT$30.22 billion ($959 million), down 3.8% YoY. For the third quarter, sales were down 3.7% YoY to NT$86.02 billion ($2.7 billion). This brought revenue for the year to date to NTS237.24 billion ($7.5 billion), a drop of 14.3% YoY.
Large panel shipments for September totalled 9.87 million, down 4.9% MoM, bringing shipments for the quarter to 29.27 million, up 11.1% YoY. September shipments of small and medium panels were 13.01 million, up 7.3% MoM. For the quarter, shipments were down 22% YoY to 37.97 million.
