Asustek is reported to have reduced its forecast for smartphone shipments from 20 million to 15 million this year as the company sees increasing pressure from Chinese vendors including Oppo in its home market of Taiwan. Taiwan sources say that the Oppo R11 was the best selling Android smartphone in the country in July.
