Asus has launched two new ultraportable notebooks, the UX430 (14″) and UX530 (15.6″). Both units feature FullHD displays with anti-glare coatings and Asus highlighted the 7.18mm bezel of the 14″ unit, which is 15.9mm thick and weight is 1.25kg. The bigger unit is 16.9mm thick and weighs 1.63kg.
Both notebooks support Core i3/i5/i7 processors with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD. Graphics are by Nvidia and the UX430 has a 940MX with 2G DDR3 VRAM while the UX530 has a GTX 950 with 2GB GDDR5 VRAM or 940MX with 2G DDR5.
Both units have USB Type-C with display support and the connectors are mini-HDMI (UX430) or HDMI (UX530).
