Argos is planning to open 10 pilot digital stores within Sainsbury’s supermarkets across the UK before the summer. The new format stores will provide customers with a choice of over 20,000 non-grocery products, including TVs, which can either be bought instantly in store or reserved online for collection. The Argos digital stores in Sainsbury’s will range in size from around 1,000 to over 5,000 square feet (305 to 1,524 metres).
