Wien Energie, of Vienna, Austria, is working with ViewAR and using the Microsoft Hololens to study how real time plant data could be useful for repair technicians. The project uses indoor navigation to help staff move around the site. “The device recognizes what you are currently looking at and displays relevant data, allowing a hands-free approach all the time”, said Markus Meixner, CTO and owner of ViewAR.
