Reports are emerging of a small number of consumer complaints regarding a strong blue tint found on the display of the new Apple Watch Series 4 when viewing it at certain angles, said to be more noticeable than on previous generations of the Apple Watch, as well as the iPhone X and LG OLED TVs.
The main difference between the display technology of the Series 4 Watch and its previous iterations, aside from both models having larger screens, is the new LTPO (Low temperature Polycrystalline Oxide) backplane, said to reduce power consumption.
