Following the launch of slim-bezel Style line monitors last October (AOC Slims Style Line Bezels), AOC has decided to further expand the range with two smaller units: the 23″ I2381FH and 21.5″ I2281FWH.
Retaining the ‘borderless’ design of the original monitors (2mm outer bezel, 7mm inner bezel), the new displays are designed for smaller desks and offices. They are flicker-free and feature AOC technologies such as e-Saver (configure power options from the OSD) and i-Menu (access the OSD from the PC).
Both monitors can partition their screens into four separate areas, using the bundled Screen+ software. Users can thus group related application windows together.
Size is the only differentiating specification in the monitors. Both have 1920 x 1080 resolution and a 1,000:1 contrast ratio. Viewing angles are 178°, and response time is 5ms. They have 250 cd/m² of brightness. HDMI and VGA ports are featured.
AOC will begin to sell the monitors this month, for £90 ($125) (21.5″) and £105 ($175) (23″).
