AO.com (formerly Appliances Online), the UK-based online store, has launched its own TV brand, developed with Vestel.
AO’s new ‘Techwood’ brand is aimed at the entry- to mid-level market. It will be composed of 40″ and 50″ TVs, available from mid-November. Eight products will be available by December.
CEO John Roberts told ERT Online, “The biggest investment that we now need to make is to increase our buying team and the product knowledge in the category”.
