ANGA Predicts Analogue Cable’s Death

The Association of German Cable Operators (ANGA) expects that the requirements for the termination of analogue TV signals on cable networks in Germany will be met by the end of 2018. The forecast is based on an assumption: that the pre-conditions for ASO will be in place nationwide by 2018. One of these conditions is sufficient acceptance of digital cable TV, which had around a 70% market share in the country at the end of 2014.
