AMD has appointed James Clifford as senior vice president of Global Operations, with responsibility for overseeing all aspects of AMD’s end-to-end manufacturing and supply chain strategy. Clifford joins AMD from RF Micro Devices, where he served as vice president of global sourcing and foundry technology.
Meanwhile, Mario Silveira has been promoted to lead worldwide consumer sales within the company’s computing and graphics business unit. His role as head of consumer sales for EMEA will be taken by Gabriele Rentocchini.
