Amazon has designed a new user interface for its Fire TV STB. The new interface includes video ‘snippets’ and trailers and Amazon said that it would add more content services in the longer term. The company said it has also made access easier for those with hearing or visual impairments as well as supporting ‘cross-app’ voice search from Amazon as well as Netflix.
The roll out starts with the UltraHD version of the box and will appear on other boxes and sticks early in 2017.
