Amazon, Google and Apple seem to have settled some of their differences and Amazon has decided to start offering five Apple TV and Google ChromeCast products in its online stores.
Analyst Comment
When we checked online, both the Apple TV and the Google Chromecast Ultra were being listed in the US, but just the Apple TV boxes in the UK. However, they were marked as ‘currently unavailable’, but AppleInsider reports that they sold out very quickly of the 4K unit. It’s widely believed that the release of the Amazon Prime app on Apple’s TV box was a significant factor in the change. (BR)
