Vizio in the US has released a new SmartCast E Series of TVs from 32″ to 80″ including FullHD and UltraHD models. For the sizes of 55″ and above, resolution is UltraHD and HDR (HDR10) support is included. The TVs have ChromeCast support built in, to simplify content streaming. Vizio highlighted that it is using direct backlights with up to 16 zones to optimise the contrast for HDR
