Aixtron said that it has got an order from a ‘leading’ Asian OLED display maker for a deposition system to be installed later this year. The company claims that its system has the best material utilisation efficiency as well as excellent thickness uniformity and reproducibility. The company also highlighted that any substrate dimension can be accomodated.
Analyst Comment
Last year, Aixtron said that it had scaled its OVPD equipment to G8.5. The company is back to business after the aborted takeover by Grand Chip (Aixtron Sale Blocked in US) which led to it delisting from Nasdaq. (Aixtron Delists from NASDAQ)
