Airbnb has revealed that it is developing AR and VR features for its service, and even showed off some early prototypes on its official blog.
The app allows hosts to capture 360° VR video of their homes so potential guests can fully view the premises on their smartphone or VR headset before making a booking. Property owners can also leave AR notes to help visitors find their way around once they arrive.
The company didn’t provide any kind of timeframe for the app’s release.
