Advantech has introduced the IDS-3121W, a widescreen open frame monitor with five-wire resistive touch. The monitor can be installed in a cabinet with a custom face plate.
A 20% space saving is claimed over competing models, as the two-piece metal frame is 48mm thick. Advantech says that similar models are usually more than 60mm thick.
Optionally, an anti-reflective surface treatment can be applied to the monitor.
Resolution is 1920 x 1080, with 178° viewing angles, a 3,000:1 contrast ratio and 16ms response time. Brightness is 250cd/m².
Advantech is selling the ISD-3121W now; price is on application.
