Adidas has closed the division that it was using to develop wearables, the Digital Sports unit. A report has said that 74 jobs will be lost or re-assigned as the company is moving its focus to developing apps. The firm has confirmed that it is still going ahead with a special version of a Fitbit device, the Fitbit Ionic smartwatch.
