Acer is supplying its Star VR HMD to a virtual reality theme park in Dubai, UAE. Construction of the park is expected to be finished by the end of this year or in early 2018.
Analyst Comment
Acer didn’t show the StarVR headset at its press event during IFA, but was showing it in a private area on the show floor. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to look at it on our first visit (there was a long queue) and when we went back, it had been shut down! However, last year, we were not over impressed, although the wide field of view of the dual display system was an advantage. (BR)
