Acer US has launched two new Predator XB271HU and the Predator XB271HK. The 27″ monitors are both aimed at gamers and while the XB271HK supports UltraHD at 3840 x 2160, while the HU version supports 2560 x 1440, both from IPS panels with sRGB support. Both have “Eye protect” and GameView features as well as G-Sync. The HU has a 4ms response time and 350cd/m² of brightness with a maximum refresh rate of 165Hz.
The HK is less brightness at 300cd/m². Other features include VESA mounts, DisplayPort V1.2 and HDMI as well as a USB 3.0 hub. Pricing is $799 for the XB271HU and $899 for the XB271HK and both have three year warranties.
