The Absen M2.9 Pro is the new generation of the award winning M2.9, which marked a major change in the rental staging industry in 2016. The M2.9 Pro is a sub-3mm pitch LED solution which features a patented fast locking system that typically saves up 50% of building time compared to standard LED panels, while ensuring perfect alignment and protecting against pixel damage thanks to its advanced design, making the build-up of a video wall even faster.

Weighting only 8.6kg, the new M2.9 Pro is Absen’s new flagship black SMD panel. Boasting a contrast ratio of 7,500:1 in a 168×168 pixel cabinet (500 x 500 x 96 mm), the M2.9 Pro can be stacked to create a ±5° concave or convex screen surface without the need for any additional tools or accessories, taking modularity to another level.
The new version has been improved with advanced embedded image processing to ensure a more striking and eye-catching content for the audience: An 18bit+ display improves grayscale performance under low brightness, showing more vivid and realistic images. It also features ClearView technology, which allows the texture, size and contrast of images displayed to be adjusted in order to further enhance image details. Finally, the SmartGamma technology improves brightness and grayscale.
Earlier this month, Absen Europe’s marketing manager Selen Guler Arabaci and product director Liam Winter took the stage at the 2017 AV Awards in London to receive the Best Production Product award for the M2.9, in front of a crowd of over 1,200 industry professionals.
The Absen M2.9 was bestowed the highest distinction from a panel of independent judges who praised the excellent design and performance of the product, as well as the truly innovative and ultra-fast locking system.
