Dell’s Alienware brand has released a lower cost version of its 34″ 21:9 QD-OLED monitor, the AW3423DWF. (an F on the end of the previous AW3423DW). The display specification is the same as the previous model but there is a move away from the Nvidia G-Sync Ultimate to FreeSync Premium Pro at 165Hz rather than 175Hz. Features include AlienFX lighting and pricing drops from $1,299 to $1,099.

When there is only one panel size available, as there is at the moment, it’s hard to have too many or too big a variation. (BR)
