We saw various reports from around the web that luxury brand Bang & Olufsen is introducing a new UltraHD Harmony OLED TV that has an 83″ diagonal. It adds to the existing 65″/77″ UltraHD and 88″ 8K range and is actually an LG ‘G Series’ TV with modified firmware & B&O audio. It will cost €23,000 or $25,000.

You would have to be keen on the B&O style and audio. The LG set that this is based on costs £6,499 ($6,700 + tax) at Richer Sounds. I was scurrying about checking this news story as somehow, the 83″ panel that LG makes had not really registered with me. I was surprised to see that 77″ LG OLED sets are available at £2,089 ($2,150 + tax) in the UK at the moment – they really have come down in price. (BR)
