M7 Group and Samsung have launched their collaborative app for Samsung smart TV users in Belgium, under M7’s TV Vlaanderen and Télésat brands. Earlier this year, the platform was launched in Germany, under the name Diveo.
The app combines linear and non-linear TV and allows users to receive content via satellite or over the internet. It acts as a virtual decoder, enabling users to access services directly from their TV, rather than via a separate device.
Having said that, those who want to watch live TV will still need a CI+ module with Live TV. The full package contains 90 subscription channels and 400 free-to-air channels, as well as on-demand content and live pause and restart features.
The free app is available now and supports 2016 Samsung smart TVs and newer.
