According to several reports, the UK’s Digital TV Group is testing a new smart TV from Amazon, developed in collaboration with a group of Chinese manufacturers for the UK market. It will apparently come with the company’s Prime video app and a Freeview tuner built in.
Earlier in the year, the company announced its partnership with US retailer Best Buy, to sell a range of Fire TV Edition smart TV products. More recently, Amazon unveiled its Fire TV Cube, a new Ultra HD streaming media player with built-in Alexa voice control features.
