Ericsson Media Solutions has announced a collaboration to make its MediaFirst TV middleware available on system-on-a-chip provider Amlogic’s S905X chipset, which uses a quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 CPU and a penta-core ARM Mali-450 GPU to process HDR10 and HLG content.
The solution will be demonstrated by Ericsson Media Solutions at this year’s NAB Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, between April 7th and 12th.
