The ICDM has formed a new group to develop new test patterns. Although the group has had static tests in PNG format for some time, the decision has been made to develop some video patterns for V2 of the ICDM standard. There is a need for patterns to help with testing of technologies such as HDR displays. A new workgroup, WG7, has been created and it is being chaired by Florian Friedrich.
