Panasonic is the projection partner for i Light Marina Bay 2017 in Singapore, the third year in succession. The company used 17 lamp projectors, PT-DZ21K, a 3-Chip DLP, 20,000 lumen, WUXGA projector to map material onto the area. There was also a projection, using three units of Panasonic’s latest high end laser projector, the PT-RZ31K, a 3-Chip DLP, 30,000 lumen, WUXGA unit. Instead of using grid-by-grid content alignment, reference points were processed by Panasonic’s ET-CUK10 camera software to form a seamless visual display, reducing set-up time by 80%, the company said.
Panasonic claims 55% market share in the >5,000 lumens projection market.
