Sony said that St John’s University in New York City in the US has switched to laser phosphor projectors supplied by and with Whitlock. The college highlighted resolution and the size and accuracy of the images shown as well as brightness. Another critical point was good video and text performance. Staff also highlighted the fast start up of the integrated system in a video (below) and lower maintenance than lamp-based systems. The systems allow the sharing of content via Skype.
