Kodi Box Dealer Taken to Court

In the UK, a dealer of a ‘fully loaded Kodi box’ has been accused of selling products that breach copyright laws. Kodi is a development of the XBox Media Centre, which was used to add media player facilities to the original XBox. The software, however, can also be loaded onto Amazon Fire sticks or Apple TV boxes. That is not illegal, but some resellers have been adding software to allow access to pirate TV content and movies and that is the reason for the legal action.
