AptoVision, a pioneer in game-changing AV chipset technology, announced today that it has been named a finalist for “Breakthrough Company of the Year” by the prestigious AV Awards. This new AV Awards category recognizes the achievements of professional AV companies that are under five years old. Entrants were asked to outline examples of innovation and new product development, company objectives and overall strategy. This category is voted for by the public on the AV Magazine website.
“We’re proud that AV Magazine and the AV Awards judges have recognized our outstanding contribution to the pro AV industry,” said Kamran Ahmed, AptoVision CEO and co-founder. “Uncompressed, zero-latency AV-over-IP is the future of AV signal distribution and it’s here now in our BlueRiver technology that is already powering end-to-end 4K streaming systems from dozens of manufacturers.”
AptoVision was honored at the 2015 AV Awards for Video Distribution Product of the Year and received Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50™ “Companies to Watch” (2015) and Jury’s Favorite “Coup de Coeur” (2014) Awards. The company and its OEM customers have also garnered numerous “Best of Show” and technology awards at InfoComm and ISE.
