Ireland-based RAPT Touch has introduced a new software platform, Solas, which provides developers with the tools to work with RAPT’s second-generation reference designs. Customers can use Solas to customise and enhance the experience of using these products. RAPT’s touch technology is an optical-based one called Frustrated Total Internal Reflection (FTIR), which is said to support sub-1mm accuracy and unlimited touches. RAPT will demonstrate Solas and its second-generation reference designs at Computex and Infocomm.
