Sky Gets Into VR

Sky has created a dedicated in-house VR production unit, called Sky VR Studio. Content produced – two films shot at the Formula 1 testing in Barcelona – was first released on the 18th March, and are available through the Facebook 360 Video platform. The films will also be available on the Oculus platform. Later in the year, Sky will seek to launch a dedicated VR app.
