Broadband service provider, WOW! Internet, Cable & Phone, has announced a partnership with Google to offer YouTube TV as their primary live television service. This collaboration allows customers to bundle WOW!’s internet service with YouTube TV, which will be billed together on a single monthly statement. This new strategy emphasizes WOW!’s focus on broadband services, using its high-speed, reliable, fiber-rich network to cater to users’ streaming and connectivity needs.
Starting this summer, the company will begin transitioning its residential video customers to YouTube TV. As part of this transition, WOW! will cease marketing and selling its own TV services, including WOW! tv+, and will instead offer YouTube TV across its service areas. However, the company will continue to provide support for its existing video services as customers make the switch to YouTube TV.
Subscribers of WOW! will have the opportunity to avail special promotional offers for YouTube TV, which includes a vast channel lineup and additional services like NFL Sunday Ticket. Other features offered with YouTube TV include multiview, spoiler-hiding capability, real-time stats viewing, and key play watching.
