Verathon, a leading global medical device provider, has announced the latest innovation in its Total Airway Solution, aimed at advancing clinicians’ experience in caring for patients. The new product is the Core FHD system, which includes a Full HD (FHD) display that delivers higher display resolution.
The Core FHD system is designed to work seamlessly with Verathon’s BFlex portfolio of single-use bronchoscopes, including the recently introduced BFlex 2. This combination delivers bright, crisp image quality during bronchoscopy procedures. The system is also compatible with all GlideScope single-use video laryngoscopes, including the recently launched GlideScope Spectrum QC, which features the latest camera technology and delivers optimized image quality and an expanded field of view during intubations.
Verathon’s Core FHD system features a TFT color display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, including MagnaView technology, which allows for high-quality images during procedures. Additionally, the Core FHD system has an internal memory of 112 GB and the monitor measures 25.7 cm (10.1 in), with a height of 206 mm (8.1 in), width of 269 mm (10.6 in), and depth of 48.5 mm (1.9 in). The entire system weighs only 1.32 kg (2.9 lb), making it lightweight and easy to transport between patient rooms.
