NEC’s newest Multisync monitor is a mid-size desktop display for business users. Energy efficiency and worker health are the main factors influencing the design of the unit.
The E233WM-BK is a 23″ product. It has an eco mode and ambient light sensor, as well as a carbon footprint meter. Intelligent power management and an off timer are also built in, and the display is Energy Star 6.0- and TCO 6.0-compliant. Tilt, swivel, pivot (90°) and height adjust (110mm) functions are built in to the stand.
Display resolution is 1920 x 1080 and brightness is 250 cd/m². The monitor uses a TN panel with a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, a 5ms response ttime and 170°/160° viewing angles.
DisplayPort, DVI-D and VGA ports are featured.
NEC is selling the monitor in the USA now, for $230.
