Tom Rogers is to step down from his role as CEO of TiVo on the 31st January, 2016. He will then take on a position as non-executive chairman of the board. The board has formed a search committee to identify an internal or external candidate to replace Rogers.
Rogers was CEO of TiVo for 11 years, leading the company’s progress in the USA and Europe, and settling several patent-related lawsuits with rival firms.
Additionally, TiVo has appointed Dan Moloney as its lead independent director. Moloney was previously the president of Motorola Mobility, succeeding Thomas Wolzein.
