Toshiba Phone Sensor Supports UltraHD at 30fps

Toshiba has announced a 16 megapixel (4624 × 3472) CMOS image sensor, the T4KC3, for mobile devices that can support the full resolution at 30fps. It can also support UltraHD and 4K formats at the same frame rate, while FullHD (1920 x 1080) can run at 60fps and HD video (1280 x 720) at 120Hz in progressive mode. In an HD interlaced mode, the sensor can support 240fps. The sensor is said to support HDR. There is a “one time programmable memory (OTPM)” mode that can store data to correct for special lighting conditions.
