French regulator, the CSA, has warned that two DTT multiplex operators will need to cease operations, once the 700MHz band is reallocated. The operators will need to pay indemnities to the broadcast network operator and may need to let workers go. Some viewers may also suffer interference to their DTT reception. In light of this, the CSA is recommended a six-month LTE trial period in the 700MHz band.
