LG’s new ‘Mini Beam’ DLP projector, the PF1500G, is a bright LED projector designed for portability; it weighs 1.5kg and measures 132 x 220 x 84mm.
The Mini Beam has installation flexibility. It features four-point (vertical and horizontal) keystone correction and a 1.1x optical zoom. Focus is manual. Projection can take place from 1m – 1.2m, throwing an image up to 120″ (1.4:1 throw ratio). Wireless projection is possible through Miracast and WiDi.
Resolution is 1920 x 1080 and brightness is 1,400 lumens. The projector has a 150,000:1 contrast ratio and is said to cover 110% of the NTSC gamut. It features MHL-HDMI, HDMI, VGA and USB (x2) connections. Two 3W speakers are built in.
LG will begin selling the projector this month, for €840 ex VAT.
