Microsoft COO Kevin Turner told The Nikkei newspaper that Windows 10 will be released in autumn 2015. The new OS is considered a “complete reboot” of the software, and will include a personal assistant (probably Cortana, which is also featured on Windows Phone). Turner said, “The things people love about Windows 7, we will have available for them in Windows 10” – conveniently skipping the criticised Windows 8.
