We don’t normally cover drones – we could probably fill the newsletter every week with stories – but 360 Designs has created a new system using a Matrice 600 Pro drone combined with a Flying Eye 3 Mini 360º video camera, a device capable of shooting at 6k/30FPS in 10bit colour. The drone can be combined with a Breeze 6K ground station that can support operation over up to five miles (8 kilometres) and transmitting H.265 data back to the operator.
The Mini Eye 3 360 camera has a claimed 450º of horizontal with 30º of FOV overlap “per stitch line for post production” as well as 380º of vertical FOV with “no zenith or nadir hole.”
