Quantum Suppliers, a US-based manufacturer, has developed a productivity tablet for price-conscious users. Called the Quantum View, owners of the 10.1″ slate will receive Office 365, a keyboard/case and manufacturer’s warranty for $325. Available now, the Quantum View runs Windows 8.1 on a quad-core 1.55GHz Intel Baytrail processor, with 2GB of RAM. Internal storage is 32GB and mini-HDMI, micro-USB, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi connectivity is featured. The display has 1280 x 800 resolution. Battery life is between six and eight hours.

The Galaxy Tab Active from Samsung (Display Monitor Vol 21 No 36) is now available in the UK. It is a B2B model offered exclusively through Exertis, for six months. Price is on application. The company has also announced that its Gear VR headset, which uses a Galaxy Note 4 as the display, will be launched in December. It will cost $200.

The Smartwatch 3 (Display Monitor Vol 21 No 36) has received a price from Sony Australia – indicating a launch is likely near. The company listed the watch for AUD270 ($235).
