ZTE, a leading global mobile device maker, today announced that the ZTE Axon phone was awarded a ‘User Experience Gold Award’ by IDG and German Industry and Commerce Ltd. at IFA 2015.
The award is a category of the trade show’s 2015 IFA Product Technical Innovation Award, of which ZTE is the only Chinese smartphone brand from China to receive an award.
“We are both honored and excited to receive this award for Axon, our new global flagship smartphone,” said Adam Zeng, CEO, ZTE Mobile Device. “Axon represents an unprecedented effort on ZTE’s part to truly put the consumer at the heart of our product development. Today’s award is great recognition of this effort, and we will continue to take user experience to new and unexplored heights with future iterations of Axon.”
Axon is ZTE’s first ever global flagship and most premium smartphone to date. It combines the right hardware and software to offer the best sound quality, camera functionality, and all-round smooth performance. This includes the smartphone’s ‘dual track’ – high fidelity sound recording and playback, as well as its dual rear-cameras that capture high resolution images and videos.
Additionally, the Axon versions launched in China, Europe and the Asia-Pacific represent the world’s first smartphones that can be unlocked with three different biometric authentication options – fingerprint, voice control and eye-scan, as well as the first handsets to feature Corning’s Antimicrobial Gorilla Glass.
ZTE will be showcasing the international version of the Axon phone, Axon Elite, at Hall 25, Stand 105 at the Berlin ExpoCenter City.
