Pandaily said that Xiaomi has got patents for magnetic attachment of AR components in smartglasses allowing the glasses to be used as regular spectacles. The company released an ‘exploratory version’ of the glasses that used a microLED projector (roughly the size of a grain of rice, the article says) and optical waveguides. According to the report, the exploratory version is said to have 497 micro sensors and communcation modules and weighed 51 gms.

I’m not sure I really understood the ‘497 microsensors’ in the first version. (BR)
