Xbox One S and X Consoles to Get FreeSync Support in Spring Update

Microsoft’s spring update for its Xbox One S and X gaming consoles will add support for variable refresh rate on AMD FreeSync-compatible displays, as well as 1440p resolution output and HDMI 2.1 Auto Low Latency Mode. FreeSync matches the refresh rate of the connected display with that of the console’s graphics processor, eliminating screen tearing and improving input latency.

No official release date for the Xbox One spring update has been announced as of yet.
