The interesting Benedict Evans, who publishes a general technology email (freemium model) that included this week an interesting article that discusses ‘What comes after smartphones’. He takes a very generalised view based on the idea that new platforms have come along every 15 years, but in computing, these platforms have effectively already expanded the market to most of the people in the world, so that way of growing is not available. However, AR could be important and how we use smartphones could change.
