Vuzix has announced the launch of the Vuzix Blade Edge program, following a positive response to the unveiling of the device at CES 2018. (Vuzix Blade Wins 4 CES 2018 Innovations Awards) The program represents the second phase of the Vuzix Blade market launch and replaces the Beta Developer kit pre-order program, which has been fully sold out and is now closed.
The programme is designed to allow for continued growth of the ecosystem of apps and solutions for Blade users, and to engage early fans and devotees. Developers, enterprise organisations and consumers may apply for one of the three exclusive and limited enrollment Blade Edge member groups: Blade Edge Architect, Blade Edge @Work and Blade Edge Engage.
Members will receive access to the Vuzix Blade SDK, emulator, technical specification updates and early Vuzix Blade hardware, as well as being assigned a member of Vuzix staff to assist them throughout their chosen program.
