VueReal, a developer of technologies for micro- and nano-devices, has received $8.5 million in funding from Sustainable Development Technology Canada, bringing its investment total to over $26 million. The company will use the funding to further develop its microLED technologies by expanding its Waterloo team and launching an advanced nano-technology centre.
VueReal also will leverage key industry partnerships with Angstrom, a Canadian manufacturer of thin film deposition systems for PVD and CVD processes, and a large Asian electronics company.
