Film streaming service Vudu is now available on Apple TV. There has been some disappointment that you cannot rent or buy films this way, since Vudu owner Walmart will not share the revenue with Apple. But there is access to movies once they have been purchased or rented. This will be the first time that UltraViolet-based services have been on Apple TV.
FullHD resolution is currently on offer with Dolby Digital 5.1 and it is rumoured that the next Apple TV4 update will include 4K and HDR.
